The company M.A. Flint GmbH & Co. gave up the business areas of diving and salvage in 2004, so the name “Taucher Flint” (lit. “Diver Flint”) is no longer entirely accurate. It has since specialized in the repair of ships, boats and yachts. The nostalgic company premises have served as a shooting location, e.g. for the Siegfried Lenz adaptation DER MANN IM STROM.
