The church St. Pauli is located on a hill with a view of the Elbe. It was not until 1864 that the drawn-out, plain brick building was complemented by a neo-gothic/neo-romanic tower. The interior displays a bright hall with a gallery, clear proportions and a sprung arch, thus matching classicistic ideals. Heavy, fixed benches have been replaced by lighter and more flexible rows of chairs both benefit the impression of the room and provide multiple varieties of usage. Thanks to the open-mindedness of pastor Paulekun and his community, fashion shows, theatre plays and other events have taken place in the church already.
