This underground bunker was built in 1942 to offer shelter to 2702 people. Like other bunkers in Hamburg, it was renovated in the 1960s and fixed up as a civil-defence-room for the Cold War. It is divided into a northern and a southern wing. The longest corridors measure about 80 meters. On all three levels there are rows of seats with luggage racks or bunk beds fitted into the rooms.
