The head office of Germany´s leading news magazine Spiegel is right in front of you. The new glass palace with the spectacular showcase of city side-looking front is themed “light and transparency”. Spiegel is known for their old landmarked canteen by Verner Panton, which can be seen at Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg. This media tower is well equipped with the most innovative technical features, you can imagine. Instead of conventional heating and air-conditioning the 13 high-rise floors are heated and cooled almost imperceptibly and environmentally friendly. This kind of air-conditioning was already awarded with the "Eco Gold", a price for green building.
