18 funded films are on the programme of the 67. Berlin International Film Festival from 9. to 19.2.2017. FFHSH is on location at the European Film Market and presents various events.
At this year's Berlinale, Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein is represented with ten productions on the official program:
The Wound by John Trengrove is opening the section »Panorama«, in which is also shown My Wonderful West-Berlin by Jochen Hick. Two animated films have been selected for this year’s »Generation Kplus«: Rabbit School - Guardians of the Golden Egg by Ute Münchow-Pohl and Richard the Stork byToby Genkel.
As »Berlinale Special« the films Bye Bye Germany by Sam Garbarski and - on the occassion of the death of director Werner Nekes - Werner Nekes - Das Leben zwischen den Bildern by Ulrike Pfeiffer can be seen. Final Stage by Nicolaas Schmidt and We were Kings by Christian von Brockhausen and Timo Großpietsch are part of »Perspektive Deutsches Kino« and the »Forum« section includes From a Year of Non-Events by Ann Carolin Renninger and René Frölke.
Hamburg based director Monika Treut is going to be awarded with the Special Teddy Award. Her second film Virgin Machine from 1988 is therefore put on the big screen again.

Green Film Shooting: Sustainability Reloaded
